    Second theromstat - install
I am sure that this is somewhere, but I pressed for time. I have a new two story home with a goodman heat & air. The second story has wires for a second thermostat. I was told that there are manual dampers but a motor and thermostat would need to be installed at a cost of a few thousand dollars. I am somewhat mechanically inclined and if I had the right info, I am hopeful that I could do the install. Can anybody help me with the parts and a diagram (where I can go to get this stuff) so I can install myself? I hate to take the job away from a pro, but I work for the state of CA and my pay is being adjusted on a monthly basis.. THANKS!!

Unless you know someone I kind of doubt any parts houses will sell you what is needed to do the install yourself most sell to (contracters only)

And if you do get the parts unless installed by a professional, you won`t get or have a warranty with the equipment needed

Something to think about,, warranty and fire safety
