How long to wait after miscarraige
I would have assumed to wait until after my next period to try to conceive, but my doctor said it was OK before then, I'm not a doctor but would have thought this was incorrect. Any info would be great, think I will wait anyway.

Yes of course I know that but I've been reading up that its better to wait he said everything looks fine in the womb but I would be worried. Also you wouldn't know exact date because of LMP how would I calculate?

Calculate 11 - 13 days after the first day of your LMP. That is when most women are most fertile.

I think that is what you were asking.

When my wife and I were pregnant the first time. We had a miscarriage. The doctor said it is best to wait at least two months. That gives a chance for everything to heal. I would not listen to a doctor who says it is okay right after. I do believe that is incorrect advice. There has been lots of changes to the body and a miscarriage is a drastic event. It takes time for the body to heal and the uterous to become strong enough again. So my advice and the advice by two doctors for us was to wait at least two months after the miscarriage. Or two periods.

Yes, Joe, but that also all depends on how far along you are.

I do not think it matters. The uterous is getting ready to carry a human being and the process of a miscarriage is a big one. Whether it is one month or less or more.
