    Is it safe to massage a shoulder with torn ligament or tendon?
    Hi, my husband went to the doctor today and was told he has torn ligaments or tendons (I'm not sure which) in his shoulder. I was wondering if it is safe to massage his shoulder without causing further injury?

    As long as you don't massage it to the point it hurts. His pain should help keep you from massaging to the point it would do damage.
