Am frustrated with guardians of my kids
OK sept 19th 2007 I left my then fiancée and the father of my son(then 2 1/2) but now my daughter(then 1) when I left him he kept calling me saying that he was going to run off with my children and that he wished I was dead and that he would somehow get me that way the idiot that I am I didn't call the cops or anything. I had already gotten him for custidal interference once and he went to jail for it, in the end the granparents of my son and the grandmother and father of my daughter "convinced" me to give them custody of my children so that "mikey" couldn't get to them I did like a dummy cause I had no way of supporting them I now have a stable job, home which I have been in for a year and a half and the means to support them they will not let me even take them to mcdonalds or the park and when I do go and see them they follow me around like I am going to beat them it makes me so mad. Back on march 24 of 2009 I filed a petition to regain custody of my children since then they have sent out one of their own saying that for over a year I had NO CONTACT with my children when in fact they had pictures taken with me in them of my two older kids the day I brought my youngest home from the hospital and that was just under a year ago what are my chances in court on getting them back? I am just wondering since they lied on court papers if that would go in my favor or if I'm just screwe*... please please help I go to court on July 23rd... 1 week and 1 day away I need help I don't know what to say to the judge... I have no lawyer...

Did you try and have contact with your kids and were refused by the guardians?
You need to make a case for yourself about what you did try and do.
Do you have any proof that will back you up like pictures?
If you haven't made attempts at seeing them then that looks bad for you.

Yes I have the pictures they took them developed them put them in a frame and wrapped them up and gave them to me.. I also have another picture from when I was 7 months pregnant with my son... I see them as often as I can and I try to call them but most of the time I get no answers... they have brought up the fact that I live in public housing and that I am on public assistance but all I have is insurance and foodstamps.I don't get any other help fom the state they have also said that I have no other income to support my children but I have a full time job. They have also brought up the fact that I go to counsleing to get help.. I have post tramatic stress disorder from my childhood but my counslers say that that has no affect on my caring for my children I am just unsure of what to do... should I make them look like fools or should I keep my mouth shut?

You need to talk more with your counselors and have them help you with getting them back. THEY want your kids so they are making up the excuses to their benefit.
After this long they may be able to use it to their advantage but you need to do what you can to get them back

If you are receiving public assistance, you should qualify for a court appointed lawyer.

If you can not obtain one by your court date, show up and ask the judge to appoint one for you and ask for a continuance on your case until you can be represented in court.

Courts are very uncomfortable for people who are not used to them and you should always be represented if at all possible when you go to court.
