Hi I am 22 year old ,I am in love with my Boyfriend from last two and half year,

He loved me so much,
Now he starts ignoring and abusing me,annoyin an get angry over me
Without any specific reason,
Actually her family member demand for dowry and my parent can't give that much
He starts showing this behaviour after that

What I have to do now please help me..
I don't want to leave him

Hmm... so he started this behaivor after he realized you couldn't provide a dowry suitable to his liking?

I'm really sorry to say this, but it sounds like he's using you.

Before he found this out, did he constantly talk about money with you? Did he rely on you to pay for his trivial needs, even if he could have paid for them?

Was he ever abusive in any way towards you for anything else?
(ie before sex, moving in, etc)

It's possibly difficult for us to advise you, as it sounds as if you may be from the Indian sub-continent. My assumption - apologies if this is not the case!

If the issue of a dowry has become a family issue - and clearly this is influencing him, then you might have to assume that his love for you is not as strong and as pure as you thought.

Why don't you try talking to him about it first? Ask him why he's behaving this way and ask him what is worrying him.

It may be that he's feeling pressured by his family and he's taking it out on you. It may be that his feelings haven't changed, but he's stressed by the situation.

Talk to him. There is only one way to find out.
