My friend Emily is having some problems in her life right now, and seriously needs help.

She said "I'm tired of helping people. I've always done that...and I've never been helped in return." and also "I don't want people to help me because I get that stupid crap of I help you then you help me."

She doesn't believe me that not everyone wants to benefit from helping her. She won't even come look here to see the very truth behind that.

If I could get some posts from people stating that they would just like to help her... I'm sure it would help to convince her, or at least get her to come her and post her problem.

I know this isn't a question, but I would really like help on this one.
I'm worried shey may be slipping into depression... :(

She needs to test the waters with little things and see who is out for return favors to the T.
Everybody will sort of expect help in return when they need it but when they expect favor for favor then she does need to not ask favors of them.
She could also remind them of all the favors that she has done for them in the past if they want favors in return.
It is hard to do it all yourself, and help everybody and their brother and not want help from anybody else. She needs to find out her true friends by testing by asking small favors when she needs them.

I have noticed that karma does have a way of helping those who are kind and kicking the of people who glide through life not caring about others. Emily should not worry so much about immediate return of gratitute, advice, and favors, and more about the positive energy she gives off. Negativity is the death of life. Get her to watch "what the bleep do we know?", it changed my outlook on life. Good luck with your friend
