    I suffer from detachment issues.
Hi, I was recently broken up with and for the first couple days it was hell. Afterwords it started to get better, but she was always on my mind still. Now two months later I'm still thinking about her. I've gone through this before. I was dumped and kept thinking of a girl for two years. I don't want to go through this again. I've passed enough chances in the past, and hell even let some go unnoticed. But I don't know how to stop being this way. I'm tired of imagining a life with someone who will never be there again. Please help me.

It's just the healing process. There's nothing that you can do but divert your attention. Spend more time with friends/family, take some classes, pick up a new hobby, pick up some extra hours at work or get a part-time job, volunteer. But whatever you do, don't go looking for a rebound to heal you--it will only hurt worse in the end. Dealing with two failed realtionships at the same time.

Best of luck to you, it does get easier. It just takes time. Ever heard the saying, "Time heals all wounds"?

No one wants to go through the healing process, it hurts, but its so necessary to your future emotional heal. As CM has said there are ways to help you through it, you just have to be more proactive in taking care of yourself. You learn and grow through experience.
