    Wire Laptop to PC

    How do I connect my laptop to my PC to be able to connect to the internet through my PC connection and be able to troubleshoot and download needed drivers to my laptop

    It is best to start your own question to get more answers but I will try to answer your question here:
    Do you know what drivers you are missing?
    You can download them on your PC and then put them on a USB drive (They are not expensive if you don't have one) and then transfer it over to your laptop.

    Well what happened was my boyfriend wanted to take vista off the laptop and install xp, but he didn't save the drivers for several different things one major is my wireless card drivers. I did try going on-line and downloading the drivers to my desktop then sending them to my zip drive. But when I go to run them on the laptop it says unknown format. I'm not even sure where to go to find out what exactly came in it to make sure that I'm downloading and trying to install the correct drivers. So he them continues to try and search for the drivers on the hard drive, changing settings, adding and removing different drivers until last night the screen went very dim. It still had the image on it but you had to have it under very bright light to be able to see it. And yes he continued messing with the settings and now its at the point where there is no image on the screen at all.
