Liquid wart remover
I have a wart on my finger that has been there for god knows how long. Lol. As long as I can remember.
When I got my daughter some liquid wart remover, I figured I would do it with her and remove mine. Even though my wart isn't really causing me any problems.
Its maximum strength, salicylic acid based. 17%. My question is, after using it a few times I'm noticing that it really hurts after it drys. Its sort of like an itch, but not really, more like a PAINFULL itch rather than an itchy itch, if that makes sense?
Is this normal? My daughter doesn't seem to be bothered. Just me. And its not so horrible that I can't just grit my teeth through it, but I'm wondering if I could be allergic to it?

I remember mine getting a little irritated too. But the liquid stuff never worked for me. I gave up and I used the freezing thing. Dr scholls makes an otc. That one hurts, I'll admit it, but it finally worked for mine.

Yeah I wanted to try the liquid one first, it takes longer, a couple weeks, but I had heard the freeze one hurts, and she was scared about it :P

My uncle used the freeze one on his in skin tags. He said it worked. I personally haven't tried it for that.

I have had a few skin tags frozen off, electrically burned off and surgically cut off. All worked, but some of the surgically removed ones did come back.
I had a wart on my hand, it was frozen about two weeks ago and some of it is still there, we'll see..

Okay, this may sound weird, but I used apple cider vinegar on 2 warts on my right thumb that I had for YEARS. After I was done with this treatment, they've been gone for about 3 years now. Yes, it does hurt, yes it does smell awful(after all, it is vinegar) but, at least for me, it worked.
*ETA* I forgot to mention that this only took me about 2 weeks at most.

How did you apply it chameleon? Was it just apple cider vinegar or was it in combination with anything else? I've never heard about this before, you've made me curious ;)

GAH! I'm soooo sorry I took so long to reply. Nope, just straight ACV. I soaked a cotton ball (or the cotton off a qtip) in ACV and placed it right on the wart and slapped a bandaid over it. The dark "seeds" began coming to the surface and I just kept snipping them off with fingernail trimmers (make sure to sterilize them before and after each use). After about 2 weeks it was gone and hasn't been back to this day.
*ETA* I forgot to mention that since I didn't want to go to work smelling like a pickle, that I did this while I slept for the day, then took the bandaid off before work and washed the area very well. You can soak the wart in water to make it softer, but I never did, mainly because I'm too lazy.

Hi everybody.
I had a tiny genital wart on the shaft of my penis for a few months, it was not very large (maybe 2mm in diameter) and at first my home doctor did not know it was a wart, so after a few weeks I went to a dermatologist who said it was a wart, and froze it off. She told me it would...

OK so I'm 18 and I have never had any kind of sex. At all.

Have those old strips you could plug things in anywhere been banned? So many of the little transformers gobble up 2 outlets in a power trip, I wondered about those old continuous strips.
