    Cosmetic grade urea
    hello everybody,
i hope to find my answer here because i am tired of searching more, i did not find the an accurate answer before.
    my question is,
what is the difference between cosmetic grade urea and the industrial or normal urea??
i am a pharmacist and i used tcompound foot cream by including urea in it, but i am confused about what grade i am using, the cost between the two types is big!!
can i use the normal grade urea in cosmetics? if not why??

please you are the last chance for me....

i am waiting the experts answers.

    thanks in advance

I expect that cosmetic grade urea has been analyzed more extensively than the normal grade, and is certified to be free of things that might not be compatible with human skin. If the normal grade is a reagent grade rather than a technical grade (also a big difference in price), I would expect that it would be able to pass the certification tests.

Thank a lot but anybody could be more specific please...

If you want something more specific, I think you'll have to ask the manufacturers.
