    Refinancing rental property
    Does it make sense to refinace a rental property that I own outright, mortgage paid, so that I can begin to depreciate the property again

    Refinancing will not allow you to depreciate the property again.

    It makes no sense at all to refi. After that, you need to talk to your tax preparer or CPA on the rules since while not an expert, you appear to have this confused.
