How do I remove cement spots from my windshield?
I had loaned my car to my daughter & her boyfriend for a long weekend trip. Little did I know they would be following a cement truck which also left plenty of splash marks on the paint. I successfully removed them through just washing and rewashing. The spots on the windshield are driving me crazy. No matter what I use to remove them they won't go away (Dawn, vinegar, etc.).

    Any advise would be appreciated,
    Rick

I think if that happened to me, I'd be really "bent outta shape."

Anyway, I'm afraid the concrete has etched your glass. You can wash it until the cows come home and you won't be able to wash the spots off.

I'm trying to think out loud since I've never done anything like this done before. You might find someone who operates one of those glass repair places to see if they can "fill" it with some acrylic glaze. You might try an automotive wax. Rain-X is marketed to increase visibility in the rain. It's actually a wax. You could try that. You'll have to keep using it to keep the haze away.

Finally, you can always replace your windshield. I'm sure this will work, but then you probably knew that before you asked.
