Need info on the best way to tie in washer stand pipe. I tied it in to my 2"vtr which ties into the end of my 3"sewer drain underground. Above the stand pipe is the 2x1.5 sant. Tee for the lav. Vent a clean out at 9" of slab and then to roof, nothing else on the 2" vtr. I think its OK but not 100% positive any feed back?

Your stand pipe should be a minimum of a 2" pipe 36" tall tied to a drain 2" or larger

I tied in the 2" w/m sp too high. I put it at about 34" same as top of w/m then added a 12" pc of 2" all this is tied into my main 2" vtr at end of 3" main drain underslab, I will have to lower this sant. Tee to just above the clean out to get sp 36" tall.

You connected your washer stand pipe directly into the three inch sewer and here you lost me. I'm still looking for thetrap that comes after connecting to the 3" drain.
ASlso you started the stand pipe at 34" and added 12" to it? Are you saying your standpipe's 12" high?

I'm confused, Is this a new VTR that you just installed. If it was there before what was it venting?

YUP! Something's wrong here for sure!

Sounds to me like you are tying your washing machine drain into your lavatory vent... that is a NO-NO!

You could connect into the lavatory piping below the lavatory drain/vent and then install the new washing machine PTRAP, standpipe and vent. The 1.5" vent for the new washing machine would connect back into the lavatory vent at about 48" off the finish floor.

Ideally, your new setup should like something like my attached image...

no no no- i ran the 2" FROM THE END OF THE 3" main drain under slab, at 9" ABOVE SLAB I SET A 2" co, then above the co i set a 2x2 x2 sant. Tee for washer p trap armed over about 10" AND 90ed UP ABOUT 12" to end of wm trap sp. About 34" FROM FLOOR UP TO SANT. TEE FOR WM TRAP. ABOVE THAT ABOUT 18" higher i set a 2x1.5x2 sant. Tee for 1.5" VENT LINE FROM LAV. ALL THIS IS ON THE MAIN 2" (stack vent) to roof, this is a vertical line to the roof (vtr), basically like the picture from tom i just have my 2" wm trap higher than i should have, it seems after talking with u guys. Understand?

You could make that set up work if you would make it into a closed system.
Glue a compression fitting,(see image) on the stand pipe so no backups and you're in business. Sound like a plan? And lose the caps. It's impolite to yell. Good luck, Tom

Im sorry I didn't mean to leave caps lock on. I didn't mean to yell. I was planning on using a slipxcompression fitting just to keep wm hose from jumping out, you understand now with the picture? The 2" is my main vent on the system and I had some confliction while trying to decipher the N.C. Code language. Some say its considered a wet vent and is prohibited others say its not?? I like the idea because it back washes the entire system and in my opinion prevents clogs at wc and lav and further on down the line the ks ties into main. Yes the ks is vented to roof by 1.5" vtr.My opinion a very well breathing system air in front and air in back of all water flowing. Thanks for your help on this matter, ill watch the caps lock... spenmax out

This compression fitting will not only keep the hose in it will make the system a closed one so you can keep the present set up without having to tear itup and make a "do-over". I wasn't coming down hard on the caps. It's simply good posting etiquette.
