    Natural resource/forestry field
I'm going to be going to college and I'm going to have to work between year one and year two of school for a required minimum of 10 weeks.. this has to be in the natural resource field the schools website says... The course I am taking is advanced forest technology which also includes wildlife ( in the advanced part of the course) what I was wondering is what are some of the jobs in these fields so I can start thinking on which one I am going to aim for.. thanks

    What's your Alma Mater? MCOFT?

Depending on the curriculum, you might have to carry a firearm. Are you up to that?
    Or
    Isn't that on your list?

By the way... you asked the other day what JD's 110.2F would be in C, 43.4C

Hmm lets see if I remember correctly Alma Mater technically refers to which college or university somones has or had attended... If it is and I was right lol.. then I've Attend Nova Scotia Community College (this was for completion of grade 12 instead of writing my GED [it looks better to complete it at the college then through a GED program] ) ICS Canada is an online college (recognised and accredited) that I am taking my wildlife and forestry conservation course at. And Maritime College Of Forest Technology is where I am enrolled at as of this September I will be going.
All my life I've been around guns. BB guns, Pellet guns, shot guns , rifles. I've hunted , fished, trapped, Guns don't bother me in the least bit, though neither does blood and dead animals (hunting sure hardens people up when it comes to that) now people blood is a totally different thing lol That grosses me out a little bit . And Yes when I go to Holland College in Prince Edward Island for 16 weeks I will be doing firearms courses. And at MCOFT in the advanced course I do believe they give you a course for FireArms Safety

Don't be surprised when at Holland, they have you go through a SWAT course to see how you do under pressure. You wouldn't want to shoot any mother's with their baby carriages. Check into it, prepare yourself, knowledge is power.

Do you know of North Coast Seafood out of Massachusetts?

Nope I have not heard of North Coast Seafood out of Massachusetts. What aquaculture practice do they use? Species they raise?

I could see them possibly doing that. I know there is an extensive medical and mental testing you have to do also.. I handle the every day stresses and pressures quite well and have been in some real stressful accident situations, even one hunting accident that thankfully I was not involved in and I kept my cool then. I'm positive I could handle a lot of things but one never knows until one goes through it themselves... thanks for the link k I'm going to check it out now once I'm done my farming game on Facebook lmao

Actually, North Coast is a commercial fishing Co.. They just posted a recall of fresh Tuna steaks they recently processed because of elevated levels of histamine. Wouldn't one of your minors be biology?

Your welcome. One thing that caught my eye was a web highlighter, I didn't have one text book that wasn't highlighted.

K... oo so they are a commercial fishing co... I bet they mainly specialize in catching and possibly processing tuna... I'll have to take another look into it because this is the first I've heard of any tuna steak re-calls in this location possibly they do not supply the grocers around here with our fresh tuna. We could use a canadian based company. One of my minors would be biology yes... and I also took Biology 11 in high school and own 2 university grade biology text books from a friend of mine who passed them on to me when she graduated from the vet college in PEI.. Tell me about it I highlight things allll the time.. it drives people nuts I think lol... the web highlighter is just awesome.. and I love that I'm able to finally use one while online.. I always used to just copy, paste and save any information that I thought was very very important (while at the same time being sure to write the website, url and page number) so I can use them for a bibliography if I need to

K.. I also occasionally post under sciences in the zoology section.. I am currently trying to convince Askmehelpdesk if they could add a aquaculture section but so far I have not heard back though I suspect they are very busy peoples :D unlike me who spends all day on and off on this site :D
