    Am I responsible for my wife's depts
    My wife and I have been separated for 9yrs, we are not divorsed. Under Scottish law, can I be held responsible for anny depts she leaves, If she dies before me. Were both over 65yrs...

    You will be hard pressed, witman, for us to answer your question. Scottish Law sometimes differs from British Law and at times not the same as law practices on north american continent. You would be better off asking your solicitor this question and I don't think he would even charge you for a quick answer.
