        Keeping my hair straight

Hi, I straighten my hair every day with straighteners, it looks perfect first thing, but when I go outside it goes everywhere, how can I keep my hair straight for the whole day without it getting ruined by the wind? (my hair is layered and just over shoulder lengthed)

Have u tried serum or some hair wax or to blowdry before straightening as it actually blows it into place whereas straighteners tend to make the ends flyaway

After you have finished straightening your hair, put a few drops of serum in your hands, rub together, and gently work it through your hair and ends. Using a serum or pomade will tame flyaway hair. Then, use a little hair spray to lock in the style, it also helps tame flyaways.

I put leave in conditioner in before I straighten my hair... I have also noticed that when I straigthen it wet I don't have as many problems with it getting messed up. I read somewhere that if you use cool to cold water for your last rinse there is less problems w/ flyaways... and I've done this... and it has helped a lot!

I suggest FUDGE serium :D you only need a small amount on your hand and it keeps the frizz down and it keeps it straighter for longer... but I must admit... it doesn't come cheap, but on e-bay the cheapest I've seen it is £5 :D:D:D:D

Its so annoying I also straighten my hair everyday (I have ghds) but as soon as I go outside and it's a little windy my hair is a mess with in five minutes :( though it seems that only the top layer of my hair doesn't stay straight the rest does :/ the top layer of my hair kind of sticks out to the side in little wispy spikes (I don't know what that's about) so I would really appreciate any advice or tips from anyone :) thanks jemma
