Hampton Bay Ceiling fan blades will only go in one direction
I have a Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan that has a switch at the top to turn the fan blades to the left (cool in summer) or right (warm in summer). When I turn the switch to the left the blades will not turn. The instruction manual says there are 16 different codes combinations. Is there a special code to make the blades move to the other direction? Where can I find the codes and know what each code does.
    Thanks
    Susan

No, it sounds like the switch is defective.
