Can't use CFL lights with new fan and fan control
I bought a Harbor Breeze fan and fan control. I wanted to use CFL lights in the fan but after it was installed I discovered it said no CFL lights. Can I use CFL lights if they are dimmable. It seems strange in this day and age of conserving energy that a fan control wouldn't let you use CFL lights!:( Any answers?

When fan was produced, they may not of known about or tested Dimmable CFL's.
It may work, but manufacturer is not Liable and you would be responsible.

You can try the dimmable CFL's. I forget if they work with remote fans or not. They SHOULD but remote fans are so finnicky.
