    1998 Honda Accord 5-spd transmission
I drive to work each day and often get caught up in heavy traffic or very slow moving traffic. After constantly using the clucth in this type of traffic, the clutch seems to "fade" away to the point that the car will hardly move. Once traffic resumes and I get moving, the clutch comes back and everything is normal again. I did check the hydaulic fluid in the white reservoir under the hood, and that is full. Thank You for any help or suggestions. This is a 4-cylinder, 5-speed, Canadian model.

I completely change the brake fluid in my '93 Civic's hydraulic clutch every 2 years. This provides maximum corrosion protection, purges air and moisture, and increases the life of the master cylinder and slave unit. However, your description sounds like the clutch is worn and needs replacing.
