    GE Frig tfx20JR beww Not Cooling
    TFX20JRBEWW
    The frig and freezer are not cooling properly, moved both controls to maximum and no improvement, unplugged then replugged the frig back in, made no difference.
    The fan appears to be running constantly as anytime I go by I can hear it.
    Turned off power, ook the back panel off at the base and the compressor (Roundish black object?) is hot to touch all over.
    Not much dust buildup but will clean.
    Any suggestions?

    The roundish black object is the compressor. They often get too hot to touch.

    Since both the refrigerator and the freezer compartments are not cold enough, it sounds like you may have leaked out some Freon. You'll need a repairman to take care of that. It's possible that it's just a damper door not moving properly, but since both compartments are affected, I doubt that.
