    Outside unit central air
    On my outside air unit split sys.the contact button sticks and when I bump it fan will go off when supposed to for a while,then sticks again and fan won't go off,I opened the panal (to contact)and saw where it is suck and tapped it ,was OK for a bit.do I need to clean it and if so how and what do I use? IYall told me what was wrong when I ask before and I checked it and you were right.I don't have money to buy the coil cleaner,what else could I use,

    I think you are referring to the contactor, The points can be filed and smoothed but it is not easy and as cheap as a contactor is I would just buy a new one. If yours is a normal 24 volt single pole contactor you should be able to get one for under $20.

    If you change is yourself make sure to make yourself notes as to where the wires go and then look at the new one and see if it is the same.
