Had the first date, is he interested?
Ok, here's the deal. I met this guy online and we chatted frequently for a few days. It was really more of an instant messaging session because of all the emails going back and forth. He was really interested and flirty and then he asked me out. We met two days ago and played pool for almost three hours. We had a lot of fun, we flirted and teased each other and laughed almost the entire time. The conversation was so easy that it was hard to believe it was three hours. He even said that it was hard to believe that the site had actually worked and kept saying that he thought I was really cute. At the end, we hugged me and said that he would talk to me soon and that we should get together again soon. I waited to write him until the next night and bascially just said that I had a great time and that we should do it again. He wrote me back quickly and said that he was sorry he didn't get to write me earlier but he had a crazy day at work. He then said that he had a really great time too and that we should definitely should do it again and even included an inside joke that we had developed before the date. We wrote back and forth for a few minutes and eventually he went to bed. I responded to his last message and did the same. He signed on after work and wrote me back with a really long detailed message in which he revealed a lot about himself and I replied. He signed off before I finished the message. Then he signed on for a few minutes and didn't write me back. Since it was only for a few minutes, I didn't think anything of it. He was then on for almost 15 minutes while I was on and didn't write me back. He said before that he was busy with work but is he really blowing me off? I don't want to be that crazy stalker girl to ask if he is into me after just one day but I thought we hit it off and now I am getting mixed messages. So is he busy or is he just not that into me? And is it creepy to ask if he likes me?

You're not getting mixed messages. If a guy is into you he will let you know. We aren't as complicated as you wish we were, unfortunately. We're pretty much what we do... not what we say.

That makes it hard on things like internet chat since that is ALL talk. A guy isn't truly judged by his words, which can easily NOT reflect who he is. What he does is the first best thing to trust.

So, if he isn't talking, you should already be looking for your next "friend" to get to know. That doesn't mean you can't talk with him some more, but you want him to REALLY get interested, consider having a full and busy life, including dating whom you wish.

Being pursued is attractive to girls, but it's not attractive to guys.

Don't fret it. IM him if you wish and then DON'T watch the clock. You have better things to do with your time, yes? Let him see that.
