    Vent? Darnit, I shouldn't. Okay.

My puppy dug another hole under the fence, he escaped twice today. It's not fun catching the little bugger.

Grouchy people are making me mad.

My sander broke. I don't have a spare.

I have tables to make and no sander. I can't get a new one until Wednesday. The order is due Friday. I'm not a happy camper right now.

The house looks like a tornado hit it. Every time I clean a room my kids mess it up while I'm cleaning another. It's getting old.

    Whew. I feel better.

    Thanks Bear. :)

I'm OK :) trying my best to be good. I think I'm doing a good job today :)

I got a break from the little one today. My cousin (19) came back from jobcorps to visit his family for 4th of July and is staying with us. And he took ayla into the pool for me. (cant stay with his parents because he is homosexual and they have a HUGE issue with that aparently, but I have no problem with it so he is staying with us )

Well that truly does suck about the sander, Wednesday is far too long, couldn't someone pick one up for you before hand ?

No worris about the house alty, I can guarantee mine is worse, and I only have one room to clean :D

Yes, it's Chewy. Scamp is being nice. He's a little stinker. ;)

I love him to bits, which is why I'm worried. He's a beagle, they get out, catch a scent and don't pay any attention to where they are. So far we've been lucky, he's stayed in the cul-de-sac. We have a fenced yard, but he keeps digging under the fence.

Pay day is Wednesday, the sander won't be cheap, over $100. :(

The house, well, I give up! I'm on strike. ;)

On a good note, both my kids are advancing a grade. Sydney will be going to grade 2 and Jared to grade 5. :)

Always a silver lining... in a way :)

As for chewy I know it might be a bit harsh, maybe put him on a long lead and peg it to the centre of your garden, then he can run round and he won't escape :)

We've thought of that Bear, but there's a problem. We have a retaining wall, I'm worried he'll get hung up.

He loves to be outside, explore, sniff, dig, play, but every time I think that we've gotten the backyard secured, he finds a weak spot.

We're going to surround the fence with big rocks. Hopefully he won't be able to dig under those.

    Little scamp. ;)

Yeah I thought you might, being a pet expert an all :), was just trying to be helpful though

Maybe some smelly flowers that they don't like, or place your fence deeper, or mesh fenceing that's what my dad did and it worked and is a lot easier than moving your whole fence down :)

Oh quick question, what's a retaining wall?

Our yard has a slope, so we put in a wall to even it out. We can't put it fence to fence because it would cause problems for the neighbors, so it's not all flat. The wall creates a good 2 foot drop in areas. I can't explain it well. I'll try to find a picture.

Mesh fencing is an option, but not cheap. We're looking into digging a bit and pouring concrete. Sadly, because of our neighborhood, our neighbors would have to agree.

Flowers, he'd eat them, or pull them up. He's a pup and a stinker. ;)

I just have to work with him more. Beagles are great dogs in many ways, but stubborn as all get out. Escaping an enclosure is a common problem with them. I just get nervous every time he's in the yard now. I never know when I'll be running around the cul-de-sac trying to catch him.

Little bugger. He's lucky I adore him. ;)

The puppy eyes only work for so long.

My neighbors aren't dog people. It sucks.

The fact that I have three irks them to no end. Not that they're noisy, or messy, but they're there, and that's enough to drive the neighbors batty.

I'll come up with something. In the meantime I'm going to be running around the neighborhood like an idiot calling a dog that won't come. ;)

So much for pet expert. :o
