    Brake light problems
    My brake light switch on a Honda Civic 1988 1500 stays on because it is going into a hole on the brake lever,is something bent or is something missing?

    I am trying to get a picture of the switch, I assume that it is a front mounted switch. (the actual button is facing the engine.) which means that the lights come on when pressure is released from the switch. Correct?
    If that is the case then the switch is most likely adjustable and has just worked its way loose, your best bet would be to try and wiggle under there and re-adjust the switch.
    (may require removal of lower dash)
