    Mirena IUD, Menstration
I have had the Mirena IUD since April 2008. I never had a problem with it thought it was great. Now for about 2 months I've been having problems. Seems like I have been on my period for 2 months. I've been bleeding off and on for two months. Sometimes its normal then other times it just be out of control. I've been having movement in my belly, cramping, lower back pain, hot and cold spells, fatigue. I don't have any insurance so that's why I haven't been to the dr. but I'm also scared too not knowing what's going on with my body. If anyone has suggestions I am open to it.

This is a rare side effect, and I would suggest talking to your doctor about it and possibly switching BC. Bleeding all the time can be dangerous for your iron levels and make you anemic as well as other dangers.
