    Key7board t4y7pes wrong let4t4ers
    Hi all, Have a problem wit4h my7 dell lapt4op as y7ou can see t4he t4ext4 adds all sort4s of addit4ional numbers and sy7mbols when I t4y7pe - can be a bit4 annoy7ing so any7 help would be great4.

    Example:

    0 is [0
    1 is t4ab

    In that case check your keyboard mappings in the control panel.

    Start > Control Panel > regional settings > Keyboard.

    Make sure all of the locations and mappings are set to your location

    Stuck #4 or #7?

    Try an external keyboard if this is a laptop as I suspect it is. If not try another keyboard. If that works, it's probably something wrong with your keypad/keyboard.
