    Are you asking for help in generating this risk assessment? What is at risk? Taking blood to measure the concentration of glucose, or the risks of not measuring glucose in the blood?

    It's not hard to measure glucose in the blood. The venipuncture are minimal, though real. You can Google "venipuncture complications" and find papers on that:

    Let me google "venipuncture complications" for you.

    I would guess that the common complications are 1) infection, 2) bleeding, 3) nerve damage.
