Does it start right back up once it stalls?
It could need a tune up or maybe just a fuel filter and/or air filter.

I am sure it could be other things but those are always good to change when you have this problem.

. Replace spark plugs with the exact ones that came in the car.

. Replace distributor cap, rotor, and spark plug wires, if you have never changed them.

If the problem persists, replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil:

Spark plugs, ICM, and coil are high probability items.

It could possibly be computer stuff, but I don't know anything about the computers in cars. Hopefully someone else will come along and give you a better answer.

The fuel pump could be going out... TEST THE RELAY FIRST! There may be a short somewhere... take it and have the engine codes read. Autozone does it free. It could be a lot of different things... have you done anything to it lately? New stereo? Amps, speakers, wiring of any kind... check that stuff out... make sure it's wired right... that happened to my truck after stereo install... heh heh... that's all I got...

Oh... maybe a faulty ignition module... it's down kind of deep in the distributor... get a manual (chilton's) or take it to a pro... u can check those books out at your library for free too.
