    Slipped disc
I`ve been suffering from slipped disc since many yrs but in march end I bent down to do some work and got the attack of it again and since then I`ve not recovered totally.I got my mri done in aug and it showed L5-S1 Disc Dessication.PIVD-L5-S1 Disc showing central posterior protrusion.Im still on medication as I`m still having pain in my lower back and at times it gets so severe that it goes down in my knees.I live in a duplex so at times I'm not being able to go downstairs for 2/3 weeks.Im thoroughly confused not knowing what to do or does this kind of disc problem takes so long to recover?Dr has told me not to do any kind of exercise and he tried traction which made the pain worse so he stopped it.Could somebody suggest or give me the rt advice.
