    Florida car title
My son is the sole owner of the family car there is no lienholder . The title is in his name.
I would like to be a co-owner on the title. I know about title transfers. But what about
Adding a name to a car title?

Simple. Take the original car title, your son and you and head down to the local DMV. They will reissue the car title with your name and your son's name on it for about $10. You can't do this any other way but in person with the two of you and the original title.

He is basically "selling" you 1/2 of the auto, he signs the title, and writes his and your name on it as the buyer.

But basically you and him just go down to DMV and take care of it

In Ohio the fee is 10 smackeroos to title a car or mobile home. This does not include any sales tax for the auto. The sales tax in Wayne County, OH is 6.23%. The price of yearly tags is $50 regardless of how cheap or expensive the vehicle is or how heavy it is. Cheap. Cheap. Cheap. There aren't any jobs though so bring your own, This, dear.
