You got to be kidding, icha09. How in the heck do you think you can bond with a baby home alone all the time ? That is what you have, a baby. And how do you think you can housetrain a lovely little animal just waiting for human contact when you come through the door?

Why do you want a dog if you have to leave him/her at home alone all day ?

    Give me a break !

Only for maybe 2 hours maximum.

This young the puppy needs to bond with you and it is a very crucial time for training like Tickle said.

If a puppy is left home alone for long periods when it is young it can develop behavioral disorders.

Working couples, reaching a point where they think they can handle a dog are sadly mistaken, and then wonder why the pup can't be properly housetrained. We have seen so much of posts like that. Then they are unhappy with our answers that basically come down to 'what did you expect'.
