    Toilet Bubbling
When The Washer Drains, It Causes The Toilet To Bubble And Drain Itself. On The Second Drain Out From The Washer, The Toilet Will Bubble Again, But Then The Soapy Water Also Slightly Backs Up Into The Bath Tub. We Have Already Run An Auger Through The Main Valve On The Outside Of The House. This Worked For About A Week, But The Problem Is Back, Could This Be An Issue From The City Side Of The Drain Pipes?

    Hey Sam

"Could This Be An Issue From The City Side Of The Drain Pipes?"
Nope! It sounds you have a partial blockage downstream from the bath room.
You will have to snake out the lavatory vent from the roof. Put out enough cable to reach the base and about 25 feet more. Afterward cycle the washer to test and flush out the line. Goodl uck, Tom

Hi. For the past couple of months, we've noticed that when we flush the toilet upstairs, water bubbles up in the toilet in the basement. In fact, it is so explosive sometimes that water hits the closed lid. The home was built in the 60s and the basement toilet was added in the 70s. This problem...
