    Lost 220GB
    Hi,my slave hard drive is 250GB after I erased it with disc eraser now it only shows me 30GB,what happened to the other 220GB?Your help will be greatly appreciated.:confused:

    Have you tried to format the drive

    What information is shown when right click on drive and click on properties? -

    Anything other than 30gb free

    Mate it only says used 35.4mb and free space 31.4gb

    Start, settings, control panel, administrative tools, computer management

    See what info you have there, see if there is any unallocated space or unknown drive letter

    Only thing that shows there is 33GB,how ever while trying to find the hard drive I did somehow managed to come up showing me 33GB and unlocated 120GB,but that still don't make 250GB that I had...

    Don't know, about 70gb short?

    I would try to copy anything that you may want to save to another location and get a partition software (suggest paragon) and see what information on the drive is avail - may be able to show you more info on the drive and space.

    Others may have some ideas but personally would try to get hold of some sort of partition SW and see what it might show
