Why am I having longer period than normal?
I am 18 years ol, my period is irregular (every other month) before since I started taking birth control pills, my period start normally (monthly) when I'm on birth control. I stopped taking birth control pills 5 months ago. At the time or month that I stopped, the following month, my irregular period came back and later on, after 2 months, I had a normal period which is every month until now. Usually my normal period is 6-7 days. This month I started my first period June 6 which is I shouldn't supposed to start having my period yet. It should be the third week or this week. Until now, I still have a period and it's the 11th day. The 1st day, it was brownish discharge and when I am urinating towards the end, there's some blood that is why I am not using anything (pads). So I started to worried what is going on. I meet with my Dr. in 4 days and she prescribe antibiotic for 7 days for my UTi. So now, this is my first time to experience of having longer period than normal and it's my 11th day and I still have it. The blood is light and usually my period is heavier. I just need an answer to this. So please help me figure it out. Last week, I tested myself for pregnancy but I'm not. I am so worried. Is there anyone who could answer my question?
