    Rear brake pads are smaller than those on the front of your car and tend to wear out much sooner. The procedure is very similar to replacing front brake pads. Read the link below:

    The main difference that causes some people problems is having to use needle-nose pliers to rotate the piston back into the caliper. As mentioned in the link above, be sure to remove the master cylinder reservoir cap, or open the bleeder screw, while you are rotating the piston back into the caliper. Also, be sure to clean and lubricate the caliper pins with silicone grease--this is very important.

    After everything is done, be sure to adjust the parking (emergency) brake cable.
