    What is the statue of limitations for 2nd degree felony pos. of marijana
    Recently my boyfriend was served with a search warrant at our house for marijuana, he was charged with felony possession with intent (later the intent was dropped), also paraphenilia... he was arrested and taken to jail, bailed out and now has a lawyer... I was not arrested or charged at that time but the officer said that I could still be charged at a later date. How long do they have to file? When would I find out? When can I have peace of mind?

    Varies by location, if it is a felony, most likely 1 to 3 years
