    Cost of tragus piercing
Hi, I want to get my tragus pierced and was just wondering if anyone knows roughly how much that costs? I live in ireland so just wondering what other people have paid in irish tattoo/piercing places?
    Thanks!

Hi lishly, I don't think having the tragus pierced would cost any more then an earlobe. The tragus area is all skin and very little cartilage. I can't quote you a cost but hope this is enough to go on if you already know how much earlobe piercing costs.

It really depends on what shop you go to AND... never get pierced with a gun.
Some people don't have enough tragus to get pierced. Another possibility would be the anti-tragus which is directly across from your tragus (also amount of material to pierce is an issue). At the shop I work at, we do tragus piercings for $30, but in a bigger metropolitan area it could be as much as $50 or $60. There is a lot of cartilage to go through and it's, honestly, not the easiest piercing to do- it's usually done with a curved needle and it's a little tough to push through.
I hope I don't discourage you, it is a beautiful piercing. Just PLEASE, do not get pierced with a gun... EVER! Guns can crush your cartilage, whereas a needle removes material to ensure better healing. Hope this helps!

I'm from New Zealand and the lady I go to does it for $40 (she trained and not dodgy at all) but other places in town charge around $60. It really depends on who you go to, just make sure they are all trained because tragus piercings are done with a needle and they need to know what they are doing.

The tragus is completely different from the lobe because it is a thick piece of cartiledge. My tragus was double the price of my lobe piercings.
