My boyfriend got a dui in tn and was put on probation but before he could report for it he had to finish doing time in another state when he was released 11 months 29 days later in the other state a voilation was not served on him he went in to pay all fines off and they served a 11 year old vop warrant can he still be charged with the vop after ll years

But yes, there is not SOL and a warrant for violation of probation is good 40 years latter.

This is the "but" if he was put in prison or jail before his report date ( his PO should have been told this) and he reported within days or at least a week or so after getting out of jail, This should be enough to get the warrant drioped once he goes in front of the judge.
