    Reorganization of company
My company is in the process of a state wide reorganization. I was offered a position in a different location from where I currently work. Should I not accept this position, and choose to stay in my present location, they will reduce my hours and remove my medical benefits. If they offer me this new position without a choice (staying in the current location) and I decline, do they have the right to force me to quit therefore unable to collect unemployment benefits?

They can't force you to quit, they can fire you. Be prepared to file an appeal when your unemployment claim is denied. In this economy most companies are fighting unemployment claims by terminated employees. Good luck hope it doesn't come to termination!

Can they force you to quit,?
Well how much can you put up with, they can change you hours, they can change your pay, they can change your benefits ( but only for an entire group in that class of employee)
