Can I claim visiting parents as dependents who stayed over 183 days?
My parents are visiting us in US. They spent total about over 9 months last year and now in US waiting for green card.

Since they spent over 183 in US last year, can they be considered as resident and then claimed as dependents?

    Thank you.

Yes, you can claim them as dependents if they were in the U.S. for over 183 days AND you provided over half of their total support.
