I know what you mean Unky. I have boy friends, but not boyfriends. ;)

I decided that I should change the sig, find some way to show my love for Starby. :)

That's why I said I liked it. It kind of 'fits' the situation someway. I'll continue my prayers for her, whatever happens.

Fine Unky, just sitting at my desk in my office at home, reading my Sunday newspapers, drinking way too much coffee... It is raining today but near 80 degrees, very humid outside, better in the air conditioning.

You my friend are one smart and intelligent character, you make us all proud of you buddy, way to go. You are smarter than me Unky...

Have a nice evening. By the way, I was wondering, how close is your home to the beach? That has to be so relaxing and nice. I wonder if you appreciate it as much as the tourists do? Not quite the same, but where was raised in the Laurel Mountains of Western Pennsylvania (USA) I was astounded when I first learned that many people came from far away to see this area especially in the fall with the beautiful colors of the leaves... being raised there I just took it for granted...

If you say so dear... can smartness really be compared? You have experience of life, I don't. That changes the whole thing! Anyway, I don't know if that made sense, lol.

If I want a really good beach, that'll be some 25 kilometres away...

25 Kilometres isn't too far... nice. If I wanted to go to the ocean from where I am, east would be approximately over 1,000 miles... west: well lets just say that driving it in my car would take about 2-3 days... But I do have Lake Michigan, only about 30 to 40 miles east of me...

    And please explain... "dear?"

Oh... ok. Culture differences I think... when you use.. just 'dear' here (US) to a guy and not 'dear friend' it may have some different connotations. But I understand now bud, thanks for considering me a dear friend, it is mutual.

    Bye Unky.

Thanks for asking about Indy. Like so many other fur babies in the past Indy seems to have livened up a bit, wags his tail when he sees us, tries to join us, follow us. I see it for what it is, the last horray before the end.

He was laying at my feet yesterday, I was stroking his head, I noticed that his legs have hardly any muscle definition at all anymore. He's having trouble walking, his head is at a constant tilt (could be an inner ear infection or a brain tumor) and he's confused, doesn't seem to know what's going on. We got ear drops from the vet, but they're not working. I have a feeling it's a tumor, so does the vet.

He's having a hard time getting around, he can't hear well, can't walk well, but doesn't seem to be in any pain. Hubby is having a hard time making the decision to euathanize, so am I. I'm still hoping he'll just fall asleep and not wake up, go peacefully.

Every day he's a bit worse, I know it's time, but I can't get myself to make the appointment. The fact that I'd have a day and time for his death, it unsettles me.

We'll give it a bit more time. As soon as I know he's in pain, or he can no longer walk at all, I'll make the appointment, do what has to be done. It's just so hard. He's my first baby, our first dog together as a couple, he's 14 years old, and so loved.

It's just too much right now.

I'm cleaning today, giving my kitchen the spring cleaning from hell. Yup, no corner left unscrubbed, no surface unwashed. I'm even cleaning the cabinet doors and inside the cabinets as well.

I'm think of painting. Right now it's a terra cota color, I'm thinking a nice green, spring green, happy green. I need a change. ;)

My cabinets are white, my counter is white and grey, my floor is oak laminate. Any ideas on a color choice?

I'd like to keep it fresh, fun, colorful but not in your face.

    Anyone? Ideas?

Not me... remember I am color blind... a pleasant deficiency at times... "No! I didn't see that red light...!"

By the way, I was picked up for speeding yesterday, I had the top down and the engine was just purring... 65 mph in a 45 zone... it was on a highway, no kids or old people crossing the road... Looked in my mirror and there he was in all his glory with all lights flashing... I hate it when you are sitting there waiting for him to computer check your records and people smile and yell as they drive by... hmmmm I got license plate numbers though... he hee

By the way... I am looking for new cleaning people you know...

Will you pay to fly me back and forth? If so, I'm there! :)

I guess I better get back to it. I'm anal about my spring cleaning. Hubby always laughs at me but he likes the results when I'm done. Everything always smells so nice and looks so shiny. :)

    Later all.

    Be good.

Green, yup, I like green. :)
