Kenmore Coldspot refrigerator Feb 99 Model 57562792 – there’s no water coming out of the water dispenser, however it is making ice. The lines are not clogged. There is a small unit in the lower corner in the back where the main water line goes into. There are two waters lines coming out of it - one seems to be for the ice, the other for the water. Could that small unit be not working on just the water side and the side making the ice be okay? If that is the case, then should I think about replacing that unit? What other reasons could there be for suddenly no water?

deeschwerin - Inside that box on the bottom where the water lines come ; in some modles the water valves { 2} are there and most were put under the back of the fridge. On the bottom right side [when looking at the back ,to get to them, pull the fridge out from the wall and remove the bottom access panel; there should be two water intake valves on bottom right side ;; I have seen them in both places in the box and under fridge ; Note - before working on them turn the power off [unplug the cord and turn off the water;; Good luck and have a great day and GOD BLESS ;; F.B.E.
