    a/c air handler
    Why does this 1 year old air handler keep freezing up? Freon and serviced 1 week ago.

    Wrong amount of refrigerant added.
    Dirty air filter,
    Dirty coil but not to likely since the unit is 1 year old.
    Restricted flow rater/piston assembly.
    Improper fan/blower speed
    Other blockages to the return air for the unit.

    There are other possibilitys but the above items should be checked first.
