    Pull knob shower leaking
    Have a pull knob shower head was leaking changed head no luck I read something about handle leak disassembled handle no view of o-ring I'm lost would appreciate any direction

    Hi sheetmetal man...

    If your shower head is dripping when the shower is turned off then the issue is not with the shower head but with the shower valve itself.

    If this is the case let us know the brand name of the shower valve and we'll see if we can talk you through replacing the correct parts.

    Hi sheetmetalman:

    That number is not a valid moen model number... check out MOEN Sinks, Bathroom & Kitchen Faucets, Bathroom Showers & More from Moen and see if you can find more info. About your valve.

    Otherwise, you should just need to shut off the water supply to the valve, pull the copper clip up and out and then remove the cartridge assembly. If the cartridge is hard to remove then you may need to purchase a moen cartridge puller from home depot... see picture below.

    If you contact moen at the above site (or call them at 1800BUYMOEN) they will ship you a replacement cartridge for free!

    It is a good idea to use a little silicone grease at the orings on the new cartridge... ;)
