What are you eating and how often and much do you eat?

Cut out all junk food, fast food, processed foods, greasy foods,
Read the labels. The more unfamiliar words in the ingredients the more likely it is going to make you fat.
Many foods have excitotoxins that make you crave the food and you can't stop eating.

Same with drinks. Many of the drinks that look healthy aren't. Fuze, Snapple, Lipton tea, sports drinks all contain a lot of bad ingredients. Surclose and aspartame are just another name for artificial sweetener.
Avoid diet foods and artificial sweeteners

Eat good home cooked meals and lots of fruits and vegetables.

I'm sorry you are going through a rough time in life. Maybe you should join a group or an exercise class, even a dance class. This will not only get you motivated to spending some energy, but it will also keep your mind occupied and not thinking about what is going on with your parents. Remember, their problems are not your cause, sometimes parents grow apart from each other but they still love their children. When in a divorce, they don't realize what this is doing to the kids.

    Good luck,

    Clare
