Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan stopped working
The Hampton Bay ceiling fan in my office has stopped working. The lighting
Still works, however when pulling the chain, the fan does not operate.
Is the best solution a new fan? Thanks.

Test the pull chain switch to see if power reaches the switch and also leaves the switch. If the switch is bad its not hard or expensive to install a new OEM switch from Hampton. Ceilingfanrepair covers that here https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/electr...tml#post220359

Ballenger, pullchain switches are RARELY or NEVER the problem unless the chain pulls out.

Are there any controls for the fan besides the pullchain?
