17.5 HP Yardman Tractor Clutch Adjustment
I have a 17.5 hp Yardman tractor that has an 8-speed shift-on-the-fly transmission. The problem is that when you release the clutch it won't go anywhere unless it's in 4th gear or higher. I'm hoping it's just a minor adjustment but the manual does not mention it. Anybody out there have any advice?

Model and serial number would help. There is adjustment on the linkage but a diagram from the manual would help.
