I am hating these darn things every time I fish off the shore of the gulf. Please tell me something I can buy in the store to destroy these things. Thanks for your time

There aren't a whole lot of repellants available that work on these monsters. The DEET products might cause one to sheer off but not half a dozen. Some of the tick repellants have worked but they are limited to your clothes. Don't apply them to bare skin.

Best advice is to be out by the time they start flying and stay out until they stop, so FISH LONGER.
