Wiring Troubles
I just recently replaced my RUDD thermostat with a new Honeywell RTH7400. My problem is the heat is not working. I'm not sure if the wiring is connected correctly.
Here's what I have :
C- blue
G- green
Y- yellow
W- white
RC- red
W2- black
Y2- brown
Can anybody help?

Two wires, hook it up...

Four wires... give it up!

I see white as being for Heat most often.
If that doesn't work, A Tech might open Air Handler and see where the connection for heat is, may be a W. or follow back from Heat Strip to a Contactor or Relay. The white would connect to the Contactors 24 volt coil.

That is the most common, white is 24 v to start the heat.
