    Bathtub toilet overflowing
    My toilet and bathtub have issues I can't use them at the same time I can't flush when draining the bath tub or the toilet will overflow when flushed. When the tub does drain it makes a gurgling sound my husband usually rent a snake is this and it does solve for a couple of months we have lived in this house for over 12 years and always have had this problems what else could it be?

    Your vent pipe is either missing or clogged up. Snall annimals will get into the vent pipe and die or build a nest blocking air flow. It is like holding your finger on a straw and when you take you finger away the liquid flows out.

    Rod the vent stack from the roof with enough rod to reach roof top to basement plus 20'.
